LAIBACH at the Macedonian Philharmonic!

The world’s most provocative musical ensemble and artistic collective with avant-garde music and revolutionary performances, on March 4, 2025, as part of Taksirat, will present its new concert program based on the cult album “Opus Dei”, the group’s first remastered album.

LAIBACH has managed to transform the landscape of contemporary music by combining political discourse with art and music. Originally, the album Opus Dei was released in 1987 as the first for the record label “Mute”, mixed by Rico Koning (Wire, Pere Ubu, Swans, William Orbit) and is the album with which Laibach became one of the most internationally recognized bands to emerge from the former communist countries in Eastern and Central Europe.

The concert in Skopje is part of the OPUS DEI REVISITED world tour, but in addition to the material from “Opus Dei”, Laibach will also perform a selection of their classics and selected songs from their decades-long opus, including those released before “Opus Dei”.
